Our club is progressing towards meeting Rotary District Governor Dave Emerick's Create Hope Food Drive Challenge to contribute at least 20 pounds of food per member to local pantries in support of this year’s Rotary International theme ‘Create Hope In The World.’
Sue Hebel worked with Upper Rock Island County Ministerial Food Pantry at Messiah Lutheran Church in Port Byron. The pantry needed non-food donations, so we expanded the drive to include things they suggested the community needed.
We are not there yet but we WILL meet our goal. If you are interested in donating, contact us at RiverCitiesRotary@gmail.com.
Bring the family and talk to Santa while enjoying a real maple syrup breakfast with pancakes, sausage, coffee, milk and juice in Brockmann Timbers' heated barn.
Tickets will not be sold. Donations to River Cities Rotary are voluntary and can be made at the event. All donations stay in the community for projects by River Cities Rotary. Learn more about our projects here <link>.
